Lis has always loved writing poetry, fictional stories and essays. In addition to her publications for opera artists in training, Lis is the songwriter of a jazz album called “Lisa Stefani” coming in 2023. Her poetry inspired composer Chris Cooley to write two songs which they debuted in recital in June 2020.
